Papel picado is a traditional Mexican decorative craft made by cutting tissue paper with scissors. Using a template, papel picado is strung together to make a banner. Participants will learn how to make their own papel picado to take home. Registration is required for this event by calling our Reference Room starting 9/9/2024: 860-645-0821. Space is limited to the first 20 participants in this free craft for adults.
