Don McMinn played at every benefit he could because he knew how important it was to support one another through tough times. When Don passed in 2017, the Memphis Blues Society created the Musician Humanitarian Fund with Don's family to keep his giving spirit alive.
From the "Feed the Blues" program, which has assisted musicians and their families since the start of the COVID 19 pandemic, to the Beale Street Brass Note Fund, which ensures installation funding for deserving musicians, the Papa Don Musician Humanitarian Fund continues to support musicians however it can.
Join us for this wonderful event where musicians have donated their time, local artists and businesses have donated silent auction items and countless volunteers have given their energy to make this celebration of Don’s legacy possible.
