Join Pathshala founder Shahidul Alam, The VII Foundation co-founder Gary Knight, Magnum Foundation Executive Director Kristen Lubben, and Bronx Documentary Center's Founder Michael Kamber for a conversation about the power and future of photography education.
That’s what the leaders of photography programs in communities all over the world are doing: changing the faces that are seen, the stories that are told and who gets counted.
Together, the panelists will discuss how their organizations are breaking down barriers, supporting emerging photographers and preparing the next generation to document their own communities and shape how the world understands them.
Presented in conjunction with Emerging Visions: Photo Education Around the World, an exhibition celebrating the Bronx Documentary Center’s 15th anniversary.
