About this Event
Founded in 2007, Philippine Generations (PG) was created by a group of second-generation Filipinos who wanted to address the lack of representation of young Filipinos in the UK and strengthen connections to Filipino culture and heritage.
Over the next 13 years, PG became a driving force behind a wide range of community initiatives, inspiring young people while helping to raise the profile of Filipino culture across the UK. In 2020, the organisation closed its chapter, believing its mission had been achieved and that the needs of the community had evolved.
Join founders Vincent Fajilagmago, Claire Bernabe, Mireille Vizcarra, Mae Montero and Adrian Montero for a special reunion panel reflecting on their journey, the challenges they faced, and the impact of their work.
The discussion will explore how Philippine Generations helped to:
