Join us in honoring Izzy Cashion with stuffed animal pancake breakfast!Izzy, local to Mahopac, was diagnosed with an inoperable brainstem tumor DIPG in August 2025. DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) is a rare & aggressive glioma that affects children. (You can learn more about DIPG here, https://chadtough.org/understanding-dipg/ )
Inspired by Izzy & her family's story, the Yorktown Lions wanted to help give back with a memorable day with the community and donate a portion of the proceeds to DIPG research via ChadTough.
Help us celebrate Izzy at our pancake breakfast by bringing the family, including your favorite stuffed animals, to enjoy a pancake breakfast, kids activities and enter to win extra raffles to help us raise even more!
We'll be hosting two sessions with limited space at each:
-Date: January 24, 2026, Snow Date: February 21, 2026
-Sessions: 11:30AM & 1:00PM
-$20 per person 13 years old & up, $10 per kid 3-12 and children 2 and younger are free!
-We'll have a pancake breakfast with 4 different kinds of pancakes, additional snacks & refreshments
-There will also be kids activities onsite like coloring, story time & more!
-Location: Grace Lutheran Church, 3830 Gomer Street, Yorktown
-Donations will go to both the Yorktown Lions Club and ChadTough for DIPG research
