Pancakes for a Purpose - Zach Chittle Benefit

Zach Chittle is a 15-year-old teen from Swartz Creek who was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma cancer. This fundraiser was created to support Zach as he and his family face an incredibly difficult road ahead. Right now, their days are filled with long trips and 15-hour treatment days as they do everything they can to fight this alongside Zach. Like so many families, they are balancing this crisis with limited PTO, everyday household expenses, and the needs of the rest of the family. The financial pressure does not end after one appointment or one week. It continues over time as treatment, travel, missed work, and home responsibilities keep piling up.
Donations through this fundraiser will help ease the ongoing expenses of transportation for treatment, lost income from time away from work, daily living expenses, and any other unexpected needs for Zach’s journey while he receives treatment. Every gift, no matter the size, will help remind Zach’s family that they are not facing this alone. There will also be a Pancakes for Purpose benefit for Zach on November 21 from 10am-1pm at the American Legion in Swartz Creek, with auction items and other donation opportunities.
