Our Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course utilizes the NEW UPDATED 2020 CURRICULUM from American Heart Association, and is geared for Healthcare Professionals who respond to emergencies in infants and children. These include personnel in Emergency Response, Emergency Medicine, ICU and Critical Care Units such as Physicians, Nurses, and Paramedics.
The goal of the PALS Course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes. Throughout the course, students are presented with In-hospital pediatric patient cases and a team dynamics lesson.
- All students must have a valid BLS provider CPR card prior to class
- All students must complete and pass the Pre-Course Online Assessment (instructions will be emailed out after registration).
- There will be a 50-question multiple choice exam at the end of the course which the student must pass with an 84% or higher.
- Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion eCard, valid for two years.
