Palos Park Woman’s Club Mother’s Day Walk 2024

There are multiple route options with water stops along the way:

• 2-mile paved path along the Cal Sag Trail
• 1-mile wood-chip path around Lake Katherine

Participation in the Palos Park Woman's Club Mother's Day Walk supports the Club's initiatives of promoting cultural, educational, wellness and civic interest as a charitable organization. Along with this, $5 of every entry will be donated back to Lake Katherine to support the new boat house renovation.

Registration: Cost to participate is $25 for adults and $15 for children under 18 years old (2 and under are FREE). All paid participants will receive event t-shirt as part of their registration. * Please note: Registrations received after April 15th are not guaranteed a t-shirt on the day of the event. You may receive your shirt after the walk. More details to follow.

Event Details: Main site will open at 7:00am and walk start promptly at 8:00am. Walk will end at 10:30am. Packet pickups for event t-shirts will be provided the week leading up to the walk. Locations, days and times of packet pickup will be released shortly. We suggest getting your packet & t-shirt prior to the walk to minimize running around the morning of the walk.

• Parking: The main lot at Lake Katherine will fill quickly, so anticipate parking on the Lake Katherine Drive or in the overflow parking at the business buildings at 11800 S 75th Palos Heights, IL 60463.
• Bathrooms: We will have access to outdoor portolets as well as the indoor bathrooms of Lake Katherine.
• F ood: Breakfast is not provided, however, we are working on getting food vendors on site for the morning. Water will be provided along the route.

Volunteering: We are looking for volunteers the day of the walk. Please visit our volunteer signup page HERE to claim a spot or email Erin Stevenson ([email protected] ) for more information on volunteering.

Sponsorship: We are looking for sponsors to support our initiatives and support of Lake Katherine's boat house in the following ares:

• $150 Bee Hive Sponsor: Have your logo placed on select event materials; Social media shout-outs prior to and after the event; Table space at the event (table and chairs not provided); Logo on walk t-shirt * (gauranteed inclusion on walk t-shirt for first 20 paid sponsors).
• $500 Bumble Route Sponsor: Have your logo placed on select event materials; Social media shout-outs prior to and after the event; Table space at the event (table and chairs not provided); Logo on walk t-shirt ; Signage with company logo along the route.
• $1,000 Bee Keeper Sponsor (2 available): Prominent logo placement on all event materials and event registration website; Acknowledgment in press release and media coverage; Social media shout-outs prior to and after the event; Table space at the event (table and chairs not provided); Two complimentary regisrations for the Mother's Day Walk; Visible placement on walk t-shirt .
• $3,000 Event Sponsor (1 available): Prominent logo placement on all event materials and event registration website; Exclusive acknowledgment in press release and media coverage; Dedicated social mediat shout-outs prior to and after the event; Prime placement of table space at the event (we will provide tables and chairs); Four complimentary regisrations for the Mother's Day Walk; Highly visible placement on walk t-shirt .
