Come take a deeper dive into the Spinning Babies Paradigm with this Integration Retreat! You've been to the workshop. You're motivated to bring it into your practice, but not sure how to bring it to your team. You've had many "wins" and are looking to go deeper.

Come join us in Aruba! Four trainers, focused on teaching the hospital community (and the birth community at large) the integration of Spinning Babies. Spend four days in paradise meeting colleagues who are as passionate as you are in bringing a physiologic approach to families.

Learn new techniques, troubleshoot case studies, and deep dive into special topics and anatomy in the breakout sessions. We hope to balance information, sharing, and hands on practice time with rich discussions and plenty of time on the beach...

Who may attend? This workshop presents advanced integration of the material covered in our full day (or 2-day) Spinning Babies® Workshop. We are continuing a conversation and study of a specific set of knowledge and protocols.

Prior attendance in a Spinning Babies® Workshop is required. You will need to be using our approach in your practice before arriving for the Integration Workshop.

Continuing Education: Maternity House Publishing, Inc. (dba Spinning Babies®) is accredited as a provider of Nursing Continuing Professional Development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC). This activity has been awarded 15 contact hours through ANCC. AAFP Credits pending.

Many doula and childbirth education organizations accept these contact hours; check your organization’s policies. Continuing professional education credits may not be available for this workshop.

Cancellation Policy: Refunds for the workshop ticket can be requested up to 45 days before the start of the retreat. Eventbrite keeps a fee, even with a full refund of the workshop ticket. Lodging must be cancelled separately and directly with the hotel. Spinning Babies®️ is unable to refund travel expenses.

If the entire retreat has to be cancelled (this is highly unlikely), a 75% refund for the workshop ticket will be given.

Participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodations, and related expenses and Spinning Babies® is unable to refund these expenses.

About the Trainers:

Rhea Williams is a CNM and enjoys providing care and support to women with a holistic and integrative approach. She found her path to midwifery through the empowerment she felt during her pregnancies under the care of midwives. Rhea also focuses on nutritional therapy for treating common medical conditions. Spinning Babies® is a hallmark in her midwifery practice.

Tammy Ryan has been attending births since 2002. She is a past doula trainer, childbirth educator, midwifery assistant and one of 15 trainers world wide for Spinning Babies®. Tammy has sat on the DONA International board of directors plus several other boards. She started working Internationally in 2008 when she went to DR Congo to train life saving skills in childbirth according to the World Health Organization. She has served in Haiti, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Kenya, Korea, Japan, India, Israel & Brazil. Tammy has presented childbirth information on several venues including international conferences, TV, radio, universities and to the Ministry of Health. She has been published in the quarterly International Doula and on several blogs. Tammy teaches When Survivors Give Birth as a way to help survivors and birth workers. Tammy has experienced first hand the barriers women face worldwide in getting adequate care in childbirth and postpartum.

Nikki Zerfas is an experienced Labor & Delivery nurse. Nikki is originally from South Dakota, but after a decade living in France she returned to the US to become a nurse and found her passion of working with patients at all points in their perinatal journeys. She is especially interested in supporting physiological birth in complex medical situations. She continues to work as a bedside nurse at a teaching hospital and enjoys bringing birth workers of all disciplines together in the goal of improving the care and outcomes of new families.

Kelly Dungan is a registered nurse, community midwife, and Spinning Babies®️ Approved Trainer. Passionate about translating physiologic principles for the hospital setting, she offers restorative retreats for birthworkers, online learning, and mentorship for nurses. She considers herself a lifetime student of the transformational power of birth.

Advanced Offerings: The Spinning Babies® Workshop is required before taking any further trainings, such as Spinning Babies® Certified Parent Educator Training or Spinning Babies® Aware Practitioner Workshop.
