Palestine: What now?

Palestine: What Now? a talk by Brigadier John Deverell, followed by a Q&A.

John will speak from his extensive personal experience of the Holy Land and of the wider region. Before leaving government service he was Director of Defence Diplomacy in the MOD and Senior British Officer in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, as the first British government servant to live there since the end of the British mandate in 1948. He has also worked in Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Kuwait, Jordan, Libya and Iraq – where he helped disprove the pre-invasion intelligence on WMD.

Raising funds for charities working in the region, including the Amos Trust.
