Palestine Solidarity Cinema

To commemorate Nakba (catastrophe) day on 15 May, Glasgow City Unison introduces an evening of film screenings and post-film discussion on Palestine. Over the past 6 months the Palestine solidarity movement in Glasgow has created the space and visibility for the genocidal actions of the Israeli state to be opposed through regular and visible public protest, film screenings, book launches and other cultural events. This is a part of an ongoing series of events which will look to hold regular film screenings to promote practical Palestinian solidarity and to counter the Zionist lies emerging from Gaza and the West Bank.
