Paleoverb Fundraising House Concert

On Saturday August 22, The Fitchinsons invite you for a gorgeous summer night of backyard music under the oak tree, featuring Jeff Berkley, Lindsay White, Julia Sage, and the King Taylor Project as they prepare for their upcoming Paleoverb Project.

What is a Paleoverb Project, you ask? The group will travel to Hays, KS to record original music at the wonderfully weird and reverberant Sternberg Museum of Natural History in a cavernous room full of prehistoric reptilian replicas. The space is designed in such a way that sound travels through it like a time machine, somehow ancient and futuristic all at once. (Steam last year’s album for a sonic sampling)

What’s that got to do with this house concert? Throughout the summer, the artists are performing a series of showcases at private residences to raise travel and lodging support for this epic dino-tour! During this intimate listening-room experience, you’ll get to know the artists and their stories and find out exactly why SD Music Hall of Famer Jeff Berkley chose these top-tier songwriters to join him on the road. You’ll also get a first listen to new songs they’re actively workshopping for this project. Exclusive merch will be available as well!
