Let's try this again. After a stellar 2025 being part of the two best noise tours to hit the UK, Pale World is back in Nottingham after a long time. Ambient passages give way to some of the most impactful noise you'll ever hear. Prepare for one of the best noise sets JT Soar has ever hosted.
Back after a stunning set in Mist Rolling Inn in October, Distraxi returns to Nottingham. One of the best power electronics artists in the country, abrasive synths with the perfect PE modulated vocals and waves of microphone feedback. Alina's sets are an experience every single time and I'm delighted to have her back.
Another familiar face, Playworker is the harsh noise project of Dean Lloyd Robinson (knifedoutofexistence and live member of Cremation Lily). The 2025 album "Arrogance Grows Like Mould" is among the best of the year. Reverb heavy feedback, amplified metal and psychedelic textures, Playworker sets are always a sight to behold.
It's been a long time since JT Soar has had a solo set from Peter J Woods. 20 years in the game and no sign of slowing down, Peter is a truly unique artist with an unpredictable live energy. Too many great releases to mention but his recently reissued "Impure Gold" is a truly stunning album.
All the way from Liverpool, Girl A is the new harsh noise project from Fili of Sevenyearwaitinglist. I was lucky to see the first and to date only(?) Girl A set earlier this year in Liverpool and it blew me away. An all out assault of harsh vocals and microphone feedback channeling some serious emotion. Delighted to be putting on the second project from this very exciting project!
And opening up is Please Don't & friends. After sadly having to cancel my birthday gig, this idea was too good to turn up. Me and Umut are bringing some friends along for this chaotic set. Expect drums, clarinet, junk metal and the usual feedback heavy Please Don't sound.
£10 on the door, there's no better way to spend a Saturday than a lineup like this. 6 artists all with different flavours of noise and harsh electronics. As always, thank you to JT Soar for letting us hold crazy nights like this. See you in the new year!
