BLIND TASTING AND TRIVIA

Blind tasting is the sport of wine tasting! It rewards knowledge and educates those that are building their references. Truth is you need not know anything to participate - but those with the most knowledge will probably learn the greatest amount and we build this competitive tasting for small teams… so even the weakest of tasters will have a great time and be able to compete - as we also ask TRIVIA and NAME THAT TUNE questions… just to make it interesting. Deductive tasting is a great way to learn; trivia and name that tune helps round you out as a human being.

We taste the wines in flights; some wines we present and not tell you which glass they are in… your job is to find them. Then we throw in a flight where we tell you nothing (double or triple blind)… things go wild - it’s fun, its a sport, a learning session and chaos creates comedy.

This is wine tasting gamified. We keep score, you get points for correctly answering/ guessing the wines and the trivia questions. At the end - one person is crowned victorious but everyone wins and has a fun time.

This tasting is action packed, focused at times, and random at others. We have been told it is a favorite tasting of our most academic students! Build your palate, reinforce and expand what you know, or learn it for the first time! All experience levels welcome. This class helps develop tasting skills and adds LIFE points!

ALL GUESTS WILL GET A PETITE CHEESE PLATE AND CRACKERS!

In the past we have had different elements - this is Palate Builder 2026. All experience welcome… we will push all students to support your efforts and provide learning elements from the instructor and others in the class. We open a minimum of 12 wines but will increase as the group size grows!

Our Policy

All tickets are non-refundable. We can adjust your menu for dietary needs up to 72 hours prior without any additional cost. Wines can change without notice, failure or corked wine at the dinner does not result in any type of credit or refund. We open one bottle minimum per paying guest, and can reduce the total number of bottles being opened so that the dinner does not have to cancel should ticket sales not reach the minimum. Fewer bottles equals larger pours - you will get the same quantity of wine and we always open the best wines for the quality of the event. Cancellation due to illness is not allowed, you may however take food to go - or assign your seat to someone else without fee. The perishable nature of our product requires no cancellation, no credit, no refunds for any reason - this is like an airline flight or Dodger game… once it goes, its gone.

Our private events are created for adults 21-years of age and older and unable to accommodate minors. Minors are not allowed into any of our events.
