Palaspas is the traditional palm weaving during Lent in the Philippines. Filipinos celebrate Palm Sunday by bringing beautifully crafted palaspas to church to be blessed and brought back home to display in their homes or altars.
The participants will learn the weave motifs of the holy cross, the kidlat (lightning), roses, and fish.
