About this Event
Join us for a painting and storytelling workshop to celebrate World Refugee Day and National Indigenous Peoples Day. Learn painting skills, share your story, and connect with community members in a welcoming and supportive environment.
This event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with others, express yourself through art, and learn new techniques. It is also part of our โBridging the Gapโ series, which aims to address significant gaps between refugee and Indigenous communities. Through inclusive events, dialogues, research studies, and art and skills-building programs, we are empowering both communities and encouraging refugees and newcomers to play an active role in truth and reconciliation.
No prior painting experience is necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and an open mind.
