Paint on Yupo Workshop with Kevin Davidson October 21, 4:00-7:00PM
Paint along with Mission Fine Art Gallery artist Kevin Davidson as he paints a floral poppy scene using watercolor on Yupo synthetic “paper. ” Yupo allows for changes and techniques that can’t be done using traditional rag paper.
Enjoy the tranquil setting of Inn At The Mission while painting poppies with Kevin. Using his original painting as the reference, Kevin will provide ready-to-paint yupo with line drawing already done in pencil on the surface. He will guide you step by step through the process, and answer any questions you may have as you paint. Of course everyone will have a different background!
Each month on the Third Thursday, Inn At The Mission hosts an "All About Art" experience with an artist from Mission Fine Art Gallery.
- $75 fee - 3 hour workshop-all materials provided (you may want to bring your own watercolor brushes if you have them)
- Tapas and beverages will be available for purchase.
