🎨 THE CLASS OF ’86 – PAINTING UNVEILING

A special afternoon for every Boro fan ❤️

On Monday 11th May, 12pm–3pm at AV Dawson, Middlesbrough, we will unveil for the very first time an incredible original painting by renowned artist Philip Meadows, created in aid of Boro legend Gary Parkinson.

Phil was commissioned by lifelong Boro fan Tony Wedlake to create this unique piece, capturing the emotion, memories and defining moments of following Middlesbrough through the 1980s — from liquidation, to promotions, to that unforgettable first trip to Wembley.

✨ Phil’s creativity and love for Boro has created something truly special — a real piece of Boro history.

🍽️ Tickets are just £10 and include tea, coffee and a buffet lunch

🚨 Limited to just 100 tickets – once they’re gone, they’re gone!

We’ll be celebrating one of the greatest eras in Boro history — an afternoon full of pride, memories and community.

🔨 After the unveiling:

• The original painting will go to auction

• Embellished framed prints No.1 and No.86 will also go to auction

• Gary Parkinson will be presented with print No.2 of 86 — a fitting tribute, having proudly worn the No.2 shirt for Boro throughout the 1980s

• Prints No.3 to No.85 will be available to purchase — unframed, signed and numbered by artist Phil Meadows

• An online auction will open after the event and run until the end of June

❤️ Proceeds from the artwork and prints will go towards supporting Gary Parkinson and the 24-hour care he needs each day.
