NOTE THAT MONDAY 3 JUNE IS A PUBLIC HOLIDAY.
Your opportunity to learn to paint the ambient beauty of pastoral landscapes (acrylics). Louise will show you how to capture the depth and feeling of the scene using layers to build the the pastoral landscape of your choice.
Cost includes all art materials needed, including a quality canvas, morning tea and drink and nibbles afterwards (BYO lunch).
This workshop is suitable for all levels. No experience is necessary. Children 12 and over allowed with an accompanying adult).
Historic Settlers Cottage is located at 180 Pearson Street, Churchlands, is owned by the National Trust and currently used as Art Studios. The setting is idyllic, nestled close to the Herdsman Lake, surrounded by trees and wildlife. The venue for our workshops is in the adjacent Shelter area (outdoor undercover with weather protection) and on the shady verandahs of the cottage. This is the perfect way to enjoy art activities.
$165 per person includes:
*Guided step-by-step instruction and expert tuition from Louise will help you master this medium and subject matter.
*Use of all materials provided including easel, stool, drawing materials, canvas, paints, brushes, palettes, water containers, rags and apron.
*Delicious morning tea. (BYO lunch)
*Glass of wine or bubbles and nibbles afterwards to celebrate your creation.
The masterpiece you create is yours to take home!
