About this Event
At this year’s Topics in Cancer Conference, attendees received a plain canvas tote bag as a “blank slate.” The idea was always to come back together—to make them your own. Maybe your cancer ribbon color, a message of hope, something bold, or something simple. Whatever speaks to you.
On November 19th, we’re hosting a relaxed, creative evening to do just that. We’ll have paint, supplies, and plenty of encouragement. No artistic experience required.
In addition, we will also be holding this time for White Ribbon painting for lung cancer awareness month. This is part of a grassroots movement to spread awareness that anyone with lungs can get lung cancer. Anyone who is interested is invited to paint a white ribbon to be displayed or shared. These ribbons are a symbol of unity, compassion, and visibility for the lung cancer community.
This event is open to:
• Anyone who attended Topics in Cancer
• Support group participants
• Cancer survivors and thrivers
• Caregivers, friends, family
Come as you are.
Stay the full two hours, or just drop in. Bring your canvas bag if you have it. If you didn’t receive one, we’ll have extras. All supplies provided.
Light snacks and warm conversation guaranteed.
Please RSVP so we can prepare enough materials.
