Painting Glencairn

As part of this year’s Glasgow Doors Open Day Festival, we’re excited to celebrate our collaboration with artist and illustrator Helen Kellock on Dumbarton’s soon-to-open Glencairn House Library and Museum.

Glencairn House features bespoke ceramic cladding, designed by Page\Park in collaboration with Helen, inspired by the quality of glass sculptures manufactured in Dumbarton’s historic glassworks and the landscape around the River Leven.

Join us for a fun, hands-on watercolour workshop with Helen, where you’ll learn some of the techniques used to develop the ceramic glaze colours.

The workshop is designed for ages 5 – 12-year-olds, with extra art activities available for under-5s. Parents will be able to enjoy a small exhibition on Glencairn House and take a look around our studio and enjoy a refreshment.

Please sign up for a free ticket if you would like your child to particpate in the workshop. The workshop will run from 16:30 - 17:30. Doors open from 16.00.
