Join us at Exploration of Flight for a day of fun, creativity and discovery at the hangar! Experience the artistry of aircraft designs up close, watch model airplane demonstrations by the International Plastic Modeler Society, check out photography by Steven Byers, take part in a pumpkin painting activity and indulge in delicious food from a local food truck.Be sure not to miss a live book reading at 12:00 p.m. by author Sheila M. Young of her debut children’s book “I See an Airplane Up in the Sky”* and a special presentation at 1:00 p.m. by Wings’ Curator, Stewart Bailey, titled “Flying Colors: The Art of Being Seen.”
