Not in love with the family heirloom? Liking the dining table but not loving it? Learn how to transform your space by painting your own furniture. Join me, Leslie Clarke, owner and artist of Le French Hen at Colliope Co where you will learn how to use Dixie Belle Paint Company’s Chalk Mineral Paint to paint a small piece of furniture. Prep - Paint – Seal!
Bring in a small piece of furniture. I.e. a large picture frame, a shelf, a chair or stool, or a small side table or nightstand. If you can carry it by yourself, you can bring it! No sanding or prep work is needed before we meet; just wipe the dust off. **We do not perform repairs so if needed, those should be done before the workshop.
Cost: $99 – Workshops are limited to four (4) participants to provide a guided, hands-on experience with a knowledgeable instructor.
After you register, please email me a photo of your piece at [email protected]. This way I can anticipate if your piece needs a little prep work with Bonding BOSS before you begin. Do this at least four days before class in case prep is recommended.
Next---- We need to know your COLOR selection! Email call, or text me 520-490-8296 with your color selection at least three days prior to class.
Workshop Includes:
All supplies and tools needed for you to complete your piece: from cleaning, prep to paint, paint brushes, sandpaper, and sealer. Plus, you keep what’s left in your 8 oz jar of Dixie Belle Paint ($15 value), what’s left in your 8 oz Satin Clear Coat ($15 value), and a DBP Premium Chip brush. Your starter kit for continued painting!
At the end of the workshop, you will leave with a piece of furniture or home decor you transformed plus the confidence and support to continue painting even after the class ends! Voila!
