Join us at Imaginook for a hands-on workshop where you will create a unique, hand-painted piece using your own clothing, shoes, or accessories. Using special fabric and leather painting techniques, you can give your favorite item a fresh look and a new story.
No prior experience is needed. If you are unsure about your design, you can practice on an older item first. The instructor will help you choose a design, place it correctly on your item, and guide you through the painting process step by step. This workshop will be led by Natalya Biktairova, an artist, fashion designer, and modeler. She has devoted her life to fashion and art, creating unique hand-painted accessories, original silk scarves, and painting bags, clothing, and shoes for many years.
Price: $105 per participant.
The workshop fee includes painting one personal item. You can bring items made from denim, thick linen, leather, suede, or high-quality synthetic alternatives. This can be clothing like skirts, pants, dresses, or jackets, as well as shoes (preferably leather or faux leather, not patent), or accessories such as bags, backpacks, wallets, shoppers, leather caps, or gloves.
The workshop takes place in a friendly, creative atmosphere with light treats available. Potluck snacks are welcome but optional. Please bring one item for painting and, if you already have ideas, you are welcome to bring printed references.
