Paint your House in Watercolour workshop | Jessica Sian @ PATCH, Chelmsford

Enjoy a relaxing morning of painting in the heart of Chelmsford. You'll be guided through the process of creating your own unique pen and watercolour house portrait in this session with award winning local artist Jessica Sian. At the end, you will take home your own framed, hand painted illustration.

Prior to the session you will need to provide a photo of the house you would like to draw, at the start of the session you will be provided with a pencil sketch of this by artist Jessica Sian. You will then spend the session transforming this into your own pen and watercolour masterpiece! Once created, it will be mounted and framed in a light wood frame for you to take away and proudly display in your home, or ready to gift for Christmas.

Your ticket includes all the materials to create your piece, a frame for your painting and refreshments.

How to secure your spot:

• Book your ticket here on Eventbrite
• After booking please email [email protected] with the subject line 'Patch Watercolour Workshop - [your booking reference]'
• Include your name, booking reference and the photo of the house you would like to draw in the email.
• The above should be sent over within 3 days of booking so we can prepare your artwork by hand ready for the workshop.

Things to know:

• We recommend that you send us a straight on photo of your chosen house as these are easier to paint.
• Photos need to be clear.
• Pieces will be drawn as the photo shows, so please ensure there are no cars blocking parts of the building.
• The workshop will start at 10am, it will last approximately 2.5 hours.
• Complimentary teas/ coffees & sweet treat included on the day.

** Love the house you have painted? Once you've created your bespoke work of art, there will be the option for Jessica Sian to create a set of personalised printed Christmas or Greetings cards from this, at an ADDITIONAL COST. Full details on this will be emailed to you before the event and available on the day. **

Please note the images shown below are to illustrate the type of piece you will create, these are photos of pieces in a range of sizes. You will create a 5"x7" (12.7 x 17.8cm) watercolour which will then be mounted and framed, ready to take away with you on the day.

The workshop will take place at PATCH, conveniently located next to Nando's and Fete at 5-6 Grays Yard, Springfield Road, Chelmsford CM2 6QR. Our venue is fully accessible, with ample parking just a short walk away.
