Class Description: Painting makes the world go 'round! Paint your heart out in this beginners painting camp. Learn techniques to paint abstract, portrait, and imaginative compositions with acrylics. Learn techniques such as plein air (painting outdoors) and mixed media by incorporating natural materials onto the canvas. We will also learn from the professionals with a trip to the Steamboat Art Museum and local galleries.
Teacher: Diane Davis, after 'finding her inner artist', opened the Steamboat Arts and Crafts Gym. While the art gym has closed, she continues to exercise her artistic nature and her passion for creating a space where young people can experiment, create and thrive.
