Paint with Wool: Create a Stunning Felted Flower with Margaret

Looking for a truly unique creative experience? Join fiber artist Margaret Mackie for a colorful two-part weekend workshop where you'll discover the beautiful art of wool painting.
Using fine Merino wool, you'll learn to "paint" with fibers, blending rich colors and building texture to create a vibrant, one-of-a-kind felted flower that is entirely your own.
In this first session on Saturday, September 5, you'll explore wet felting and laying down color and building the foundation of your piece. In Part 2 on Sunday, September 6th, you'll bring your flower to life with intricate detail, depth, and dimension through needle felting and embroidery.
No experience necessary. All materials provided. You're welcome to bring a photo of a favorite flower for inspiration, or choose from images available in class.
Open to ages 12 and up. Feel free to bring a snack or drink and settle in — this is a relaxed, supportive space where art is for everyone. Sliding scale pricing available if needed. Just reach out.
