Mark your calendar for our citywide Paint Recycling event on Saturday, September 28th, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Belmar Church, 460 S. Kipling Street, Lakewood, CO 80226. This event is initiated and organized by your neighbor volunteers of Lakewood’s Sustainable NeighborhoodsJoin your neighbors and GreenSheen Paint for a fun and eco-friendly event where you can safely dispose of UNLIMITED AMOUNTS of your unwanted paint! Don't miss this opportunity to declutter your space and contribute to a greener environment.
It's happening at Belmar Church's parking lot (Note: Turn east at Kipling and Exposition; turn north on the service road.) A special thanks to Belmar Church for sharing their parking lot for this event.
This event is free; your optional cash or check donation is greatly appreciated and will support your neighbors' pursuits in creating sustainable, vibrant communities for us all. Checks may be made out to Sustainable Neighborhood Network.
Sustainability doesn't stop at our neighborhood boundaries; open to any Coloradoan who has paint to recycle, regardless of city of residency.
Spread the word and invite your neighbors, friends and family to join in. Together, let's make a positive impact on our community and the planet. Don't forget to mark your calendars for this event!
Please help us keep everyone safe and stay in your car, turn off your engine and pop your trunk. The GreenSheen paint team will do the heavy lifting for you.

• Oil paint (alkyd)
• Stains & shellacs
• Lacquers, varnishes, sealers
• Urethanes & textured coatings
• 5 gallon cans or smaller
• Original, labeled, non-leaking containers
NOT ACCEPTED:
• Aerosol (spray) paint
• Paint thinner
• Solvents, cleaning agents
• Adhesives
• Car, boat and artist paint
• Hazardous waste
• Drywall mud, roof patch, etc.
