Cathy Kline began Paint Parkville 12 years ago and it has grown to be fantastic Plein Air Painting Event. Parkville's riverfront location, beautiful parks, charming homes and quaint Main Street offers artists a wide variety of subjects. Parkville was USA Today’s pick for Most Charming Main Street in Missouri. Experienced plein air painters and novices alike are sure to find a plethera of places for their plein air painting pleasure.
When Cathy retired from the gallery business Wanda Jackson and the Parkville Art House took up the Paint Parkville "paint brush" are planning the 2024 event.
Painting days will be Wed, Oct 9th thru Sun, October 13th. The cost of participating is $40 preregistration and $50 at the event.
There will be 5 purchase awards of $500 and Awards for Best of Show- First $500, Second $250 and Third $100.
All work will be submitted on Sunday Oct 13th and the Paint Parkville Show Opening will be at the regular 3rd Friday Parkville Art House Gathering on October 18th from 7 to 9 pm.
