This month’s Paint n Sip at Woman Made will focus on Suzanne Valadon & Post-Impressionist body positivity. Suzanne Valadon is known for her bohemian life in Paris during the 19th century in which she was a model and circus performer turned professional artist who hung with the likes of Toulouse-Lautrec and Renoir despite lacking any formal artistic training. Her bold lines and unapologetic feminine forms were pivotal during her time and she still rings true as a feminist art icon. Join us as we explore post-impressionist painting styles, color mixing, and the human form. Artists of all levels are welcome!
This workshop is taught by artist Veronica Clements, WMG Marketing and Development Coordinator, & Mattie Sterling, activist and painter.
