New: Enjoy animal snuggles on Saturday, January 24 when an adoptable animal stops by for a visit!Paint a portrait of your pet! Participants will paint a portrait of their dog, cat, rabbit — or any animal — under the guidance of an experienced artist.
No previous painting experience is needed. Individuals, groups of friends & families are welcome. Youth ages 7+ are welcome to sign up with a parent or other adult! All youth must be accompanied by adult (the adult can register to paint as well or just attend for moral support).
After you’ve registered for the program, you'll receive instructions that request a high resolution photo of your pet (just one pet per canvas). Please send this photo to our team immediately after registration. We will transfer the outline of your pet onto a 12x16 inch canvas before the program.
The canvas, easel, and all other painting supplies will be provided. Just dress for mess and get ready to be creative!
At the end of the program, participants will bring their painting home with them.
