Led by Larisse HallLearn the fundamentals of painting in this fun 'Wham Bam' painting class!
Using easy composition techniques students will develop subject matter into a still life they are proud to take home.
Using the traditional artist's aids of colour theory, tone, perspective and negative space, students will be encouraged to paint a painting that 'pops' from the canvas.
Arrive having never painted before and leave with your very own artwork - ready for the wall!

An international award-winning artist living in Nelson, New Zealand, Larisse Hall combines traditional techniques of painting and form with the science and colour of infused physical light to produce works of art that live and breathe, transforming over time. Her work acknowledging time as our most precious commodity.
Larisse's painting practice has developed significantly since 2008, when she left her position in the fashion industry to pursue her art practice full time. Never fully separating her two worlds; they are now intrinsically intertwined, each feeding and enriching the other.
Once asked to separate her artist self from her creative being, she realized that each inspires the other and together they make her whole.
Environmentally aware, her art and classes encourage sustainability. This, combined with her organic approach to her garden and life, supports the whakatauki:
