Whether it is for a daytime date, solo journey, or a cozy day with friends, come explore your creative side and leave with a beautiful keepsake made by you. This will be a guided painting experience with plenty of space to nurture your inner artist. We will be painting potted monsteras on a table-- this design is customizable, and there's space to follow your artistic instincts.

Artist bio:

Hi! My name is Alisha (@alishasianart) and I am a South Asian artist based in Vancouver, BC. Creating art has always been my way of connecting to a world filled with beauty and chaos. I have been drawing and painting my entire life, using mediums such as watercolor, graphite, charcoal, and acrylic paint. As a tattoo artist, I've found fulfillment in helping others translate their ideas into wearable art. Throughout my budding career, I have had the privilege of hosting a workshop, exhibiting my artwork in galleries, and finding community in artist collectives. I believe art is magic. It has the potential to evolve perspectives, share knowledge, and grow connections.

Idle Hours Cafe invites you to slow down, sip thoughtfully, and savour the moment in a world that moves at a mile-a-minute. What started as a cozy at-home experiment with friends has blossomed into a pop-up café experience specializing in matcha, coffee, and seasonal drinks designed to delight.
