Paint and Sip: Mandala Madness

Barbara Nahmias is an artist, published poet, writer and ordained interfaith minister in New York City, leads this 2-hour Mandala Madness: Drawing and Stone Painting Class. Her unique creations, mandalas painted on stone and canvas, are done freehand and intuitively. Mandalas are used in various spiritual traditions for focusing attention, a spiritual guidance tool, and an aid in meditation and trance induction. Barbara thinks of her creations as 'portable spiritual aids.’ It is her hope that sending mandalas out into the world will serve to heal and to raise consciousness.
