This class invites you to transform a rescued book into a one-of-a-kind writing journal. You’ll explore creative ways to add your own words to pages of text using paint, folding, attaching, creating pockets, and incorporating curated ephemera to craft a personal, private journal with a refined balance of texture and flow.
Learn practical techniques to remove and alter pages, add lightweight embellishments, and develop an expressive structure that captures your thoughts without becoming overwhelming. A gentle blend of junk journaling spirit and purposeful, traditional writing, designed for creative exploration. No experience needed! This class is ideal for artists, writers, or anyone seeking a relaxing, hands-on journal-making experience. All supplies included. Ages 16 & up (or 13-15 with a participating adult).
