जगणं होईल हिरवंगार is Eknath Avhad’s latest collection of poems which reflect on everyday life, people, nature, childhood and relationships with a sense of honesty and hope that stays with you. Avhad, who was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Bal Sahitya Puraskar in 2023, has earned acclaim for his contribution to Marathi poetry f or children. The evening promises to be an engaging literary gathering which will begin with a simple book unveiling, followed by readings from the collection. Select poems will be presented in a performative style, staying true to the Page to Stage idea.

This will be followed by a conversation with the author, touching upon his writing process, themes in the book and what inspires his poetry.

The evening will commence with an informal meet-and-greet and book signing.
