The Padrino Foods World Championship Tamale Eating Contest returns to this year's Lewisville Western Days! At last year's event, Geoffrey Esper won the contest again by eating 80 tamales in 10 minutes. He still still holds the World Record set in 2019 - 95 tamales, 10 minutes. Will he defend his crown and world record, or will a challenger emerge? You'll find out at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, in front of Lewisville City Hall.
