Join a ranger for an hour on the water!
Come out on the waters of Tyler State Park and get paddling experience with a ranger. Here we will cover the basics of paddling in a single person kayak. Be prepared to get wet as we will be practicing how to get in and out of a kayak.
This trip does currently require RSVP to attend. Reservations will be accepted via email after the 1st of the month at 12pm any submissions made before will not be accepted.
Reservation emails need to include:
- Name, Age, and Phone Number for each participant
- Each individual person needs to sign up and must be 8 years or older. A child under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
When: The boat trip is 7:30AM - 8:30AM.
Where: Silver Canoe Boat House
Bring: Water shoes, appropriate attire, plenty of water, and a head lamp.
Cost: Guided trips are free with the cost of admission into the park.
Reminder: Keep in mind that even though these are guided trips, you participate at your own risk. If your boat tips over, you must be able to get back in by yourself.
