It’s the perfect time to get out on the water, ready for the Blockade in just 7 weeks! Join us for a great day out, with water safety and kayaking training, BYO picnic lunch, a Kaurna Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony, then a group paddle out - a mini Flotilla!
Getting wet is inevitable on water, so if it’s safe to do so, we’ll go ahead, even if it's raining - just like at the Blockade!
Paddle SA facilities include an accessible toilet, change rooms, hot showers, a kitchen and a large air conditioned indoor room.There are also grassy outdoor areas, with toilets, electric BBQs, shelters and trees. Depending on the tide, there’ll be sandy shores lakeside too.
We’ll have a designated First Aider on shore at all times, and some of our kayaking trainers have First Aid training too.
