Time to celebrate Mardi Gras, Cleveland style!
Come out to Rudy’s Strudel on Fat Tuesday for an #UNSTOPPABLE Cleveland tradition!
Line up for the paczki on Tuesday, March 4—doors open at 5AM!
The Current Year Records and Tapes will help kick off the festivities with polka on vinyl in the bakery—be there for the balloon drop and confetti cheers!
Live meet and greet with The Mummy and The Monkey!
Starting at 10am, polka to live music with Cleveland legends Tom Mroczka and the Music Box! Hear the world famous “Paczki Polka” performed live!
Free giveways all day long and unlimited hugs and polka!
This year, among all the many great sweet and savory paczki flavors Rudy’s has available, are two of Lidia’s special creations made just for this year:
Mimosa paczki, in honor of International Women’s Day. Made in collaboration with Lakewood’s Immigrant Son Brewery, this exclusive paczki flavor features Blood Orange Mimosa translated into a buttercream filling!
Super Host Paczki, in honor of Cleveland legend Marty Sullivan! This Rudy’s exclusive for 2025 has Superman ice cream translated into buttercream filling.
POST PACZKI PAVEMENT PARTY HEARTY FOR MARDI!
Once the bakery runs out of paczki and the last polka ends, we’re doubling down on our promise of being Cleveland’s home for Mardi Gras, as the Parma for Pavement International Committee brings in THE BOB for a massive Mardi Gras blast!
from 1pm to 4pm, Pavement’s Bob Nastanovich will spin a seasonal blend of choice tunage, and along with Michael Stutz of The Current Year, expect to get down with bubblegum bass, malibu ghost beats, french disco, balearic hyperpop, tropical house, cajun rockabilly and lots of New Orleans magic! And get exclusive deals on Broker’s Tip Records from Bob!
The afternoon will also present bead-dazller Laura Wimbels host of Lenora’s Midnight Rental, Cleveland’s first official Ambassador of Mardi Gras Beads!
Rudy’s will be serving a hot pierogi bar and Lidia’s special Cajun inspired menu and Immigrant son Brewery Paczki Beer will be on tap all afternoon!
In collab with Cleveland Photo Fest, photos, letters and recipes will be posted everywhere from willing contributors.
In honor of our dear friend "Big Chuck" Schodowski, we'll have Big Chuck and Lil' John on TVs throughout the store all day!
