We all have encountered many families in our community that may not have the resources to provide the essential school supplies for the upcoming school year. Our desire is to assist and fulfill those needs for each school-age child, along with providing community resources that the city of Santa Maria offers for their family. Calvary Chapel of Santa Maria would like to invite you and your family to our Pack For The Future community event. We will be providing essential school supplies to those who are in need. This will be an outside event with games, food, music and even a live show. Please see the flyer or FAQ for more details.

Here are some commonly ask questions regarding this event:
Q. Do I need to bring these tickets? A. No, the pre-registration is to get a headcount on how many supplies we need for this event.
Q. Do I automatically get registered for this event with this pre-registration? A. No, the pre-registration is to get a headcount to measure how many supplies we need for this event.
Q. Am I or my family members guaranteed the school supplies with this pre-registration? A. No, the actual registration will be on the day of the event. We recommend that you arrive promptly to ensure that your family gets registered before the supply limit is reached. This is a “first come, first served” event.
Q. Are all the children going to get a backpack and school supplies? A. We have a certain amount of school supplies which means that they are limited to a certain number of registrations. All children receiving supplies and backpacks are for K-12th. Again we recommend arriving promptly to ensure that your family is registered before the supply limit is reached.
Q. How long is registration open till? A. The hours for registration are from 1:00pm – 2:30pm OR until the supply limit is met.
Q. What time does the event begin and end? A. The event begins at 1:00pm and schedule to end around 4:00pm. We ask all attending families to make plans to stay for the whole event. This is a “first come, first served” and “while supplies last” event.
Q. Does the child or children need to be present to receive supplies? A. Yes, they must be present to receive any supplies along with their parent or guardian. School supplies and backpacks will be distributed at different times and we ask all attending families to make plans to stay for the whole event.
Q. Are children that are not school-age welcomed? A. Yes, they are but unfortunately, they are not eligible to receive any school supplies.
Q. Will all the supplies be available to take right away or will I be able to grab and go? A. As a community event, we will have many fun activities and resources. School supplies and backpacks will be distributed at different times and we ask all attending families to make plans to stay for the whole event.
Q. Can I drop off my children and wait in the car? A. No, All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, no exceptions.
Q. Will this be an inside or outside event? A. This event will be held outside and shade may be limited. Please dress for the beautiful summer weather.
Q. Are there any COVID restrictions? A. Please review California guidelines at https://covid19.ca.gov/
