Pachanga Society + Brothers Burn Mountain
Schedule
Fri Aug 23 2024 at 06:00 pm
UTC-05:00Location
Milk & Honey Ciders | Saint Joseph, MN
Perhaps the most amazing thing about the music of Pachanga Society is that its appeal cuts through both generational and cultural barriers. A cross section of a typical crowd will find people ranging from their 20s to their 70s, and in terms of culture you'll find college students/professors from Minnesota and around the world, long-term local residents, members of the local Latino community, and a sizable number of local musicians. The participatory nature of the Pachanga experience is a key part of the energy or synergy that is created between the audience and the players on the stage.
Brothers Burn Mountain
Based out of Duluth, MN, The Brothers Burn Mountain are a soulful, energetic, eclectic duo of real-life brothers, Ryan and Jesse Dermody. They've been playing music together everyday as a duo for more than 20 years. They've released 10 full-length albums of original music, and have toured across the country over the years, though especially in the Midwest, having played more than 1,850 live shows. Their sound is a roiling melting pot of so many musical influences, that it's hard to describe, except as energetic and eclectic; with afro-cuban rhythms, Zappa-esque spontanaeity, grittiness, bluesyness, tenderness, and a singer-songwriter, folky flair.
Doors open at 6:00 PM, music starts at 7:00 PM.
Jule's Bistro will be onsite serving food.
