Calling all runners and walkers! We are excited to kick off the Summer Pace Series and Community Run on June 11th! Check in at 6pm and run starts @ 6:30pm at Edwardsville High School. We invite all high school runners to come out and join us! This is an open event; all runners and walkers, all ages, all paces are invited to participate. This is a weekly supported group run. Route will be marked and water available along the course.
Participants can sign up for a pace group each week, and have a group to run with who is at the same pace. If you are not able to hold the pace, it's no problem! Just drop back and the next pace group will pick you up.
Want to run at your own pace, and not with a pace group? We've got that too. We have an open group where everyone can go as far and fast (or not) as they want. There is something for everyone!
This is a FREE community event. You will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to the run. Participants under 18 years old will need a parent/guardian signature. Link to waiver: https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/sv/r1zjxGw/Summerpaceseries
This is NOT a closed course. Streets and the MCT trails are open to other users/cars/bikes. You are responsible for your own safety. Participate at your own risk.
