Once again, a reminder about the PACCS reunion coming up in Omaha starting on Sept 13th. Even though these reunions were started for the 28TH AMS PACCS Maintainers, this year we want to open it up to all PACCS Maintainers and Comm crew members. So if you need to make a hotel reservation, please use the information below to stay with us.This reunion is a very informal event with no real scheduled events. The only scheduled event is dinner at the Golden Corral in Bellevue at 5:00 PM on Saturday.
We start out at the hotel on Friday, Sept 13th and meet people as they come in. The hotel is the Fairfield by Marriott Omaha Papillion at 465 Olson Drive in Papillion. I, Gary Thomas, will be there in the lobby around 3:00 PM. We'll get together as people arrive and get reacquainted and catch up on what we've been up to. Depending on group size and how we feel, we'll either go out somewhere to eat as a group or break up into smaller groups to eat.
On Saturday morning, as everyone wakes up, we'll start meeting in the lobby breakfast area. Once again, it will be informal and be a free for all. If you are not staying at the hotel, you can still join up and keep us company. Some people will break up into smaller groups to visit arears they had been to or lived while here at Offutt. If anyone would like to visit the SAC Museum, I/m sure there will be several people wanting to make an event of it. If anyone would like to visit Offutt, we can find people wanting to go there for a tour.
For dinner, we can carpool or meet at the Golden Corral in Bellevue at 5:00 PM. The address is 1511 Gregg Road, Bellevue. Please PM me to let me know if you will want to attend this dinner.
After dinner, we will head back to the hotel to sit around and talk in the lobby area.
On Sunday morning, most of the people staying at the hotel will start checking out and we'll have a final breakfast at the hotel and head out.
