PABJ's 50th Anniversary Gala

Come and honor the best and Black in Philly media! The celebration is on Saturday, November 9, 2024, 6 PM at Penn Museum (3260 South Street, Philadelphia, PA, 19104).

Gala proceeds support PABJ professional journalism workshops and community programming.

Tickets​ ​are​ ​$125 for PABJ members, $175 for non-members. ​The​ ​evening​ will ​include delicious​ ​hors d’oeuvres,​ ​an open cocktail bar,​ ​and​ ​the​ ​chance​ ​to​ ​meet​ ​and​ ​celebrate​ ​with​ ​our​ ​honorees and distinguished guests.​

We highly encourage gala, Black-tie, formal gown attire -- but feel free to dress to impress in whatever pleases you.

Timeline of Evening:

6-7:30 pm: Cocktail Hour (Open cocktail bar, passed​ ​hors d’oeuvres, networking)

7:30-8:30 pm: Awards Ceremony (Formal honoring of awardees, speeches)

8:30-11 pm: Celebration (Open cocktail bar, heavy hors d'oeurvres, minging, party dancing with live DJ)

​​PLEASE NOTE: Tickets​ ​can​ ​be purchased​ ​only on Eventbrite​ (no tickets will be sold at the door or elsewhere). All ticket sales are final, no refunds. Feel free to personally re-sale/gift your tickets to those in your own network individually.
