PLO Man is a Berlin-based DJ and producer and a co-founder of the enigmatic label Acting Press, operating since 2015. With his mysterious underground aesthetic, he creates lush, tape-hiss-infused house and techno. He is known for detailed, smoothly flowing DJ sets and a deliberately minimal online presence. PLO Man’s output is unique and difficult to put into words – impressively versatile and in constant transformation.
For PLO Man, records are tools. They travel with him and become something new in every space. Whether a bridge between strangers, a connection between friends, or a moment that exists only here and now. For him, sound is physical: it has shape, weight, and temperature In the DJ-booth, he builds complete environments from these elements. Atmosphere meets acid and jazz, fog meets rhythm, creating a setting that pulls dancers in and keeps them there until the very last minutes.
Emotion is always present, even when it cannot be named. Sometimes the greatest sound is simply the sound itself. We step into it to dance, to laugh, to lose our sense of time and to find ourselves in collective movement.
And there is no end to it.
