PA License to Carry Satellite Event

On Saturday, November 21, 2026, the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office will join with the South Park Township Police department to host a satellite PA License to Carry a Firearm event at the South Park Township Community Center from 9:00AM through 3:00PM. The center is located at 2575 Brownsville Rd. South Park PA 15129.
The event will be first-come, first-serve meaning that we will not be using an appointment process. It is important for all (new and renewal) applicants to have a valid PA ID or Driver’s License, a completed application, and $20.00 cash on hand. It is important that applicants bring a completed application to ensure efficiency in the process for all attending the event. Also, we will only be serving residents of Allegheny County.
These events are part of the commitment that Sheriff Kevin M. Kraus has to bring government services to the community and provide numerous opportunities throughout the county for citizens to apply for their license. This is our ninth and final satellite event for 2026.
In addition to issuing licenses, the Sheriff’s Office will also have a representative from our opioid reduction program, Project D.U.M.P., on-site to take expired and unused medications. However, we will not be accepting glass bottles, liquids, syringes, inhalers/insulin, or creams.
