Celebrate the music of Black Sabbath and the late, great Ozzy Osbourne at Maryland Meadworks! Don't miss OZZY-FEST, an incredible four-band tribute show Saturday, October 24 (6pm doors / 7pm show) featuring:
AMMONITE is a Washington D.C.-area rock trio where punk urgency meets Americana soul. Fronted by Erin (vocals/guitar) and Selena (lead guitar/vocals) with Christopher Peli (drums), the band is known for soaring harmonies, gritty songwriting, and a boldly queer, political edge that stands at the crossroads of indie rock, feminist punk, and queer Americana. https://ammoniteband.com/
SOFTLY OSBOURNE: a local trio focusing on the ballads in the catalogue with Pete Daniels (fiddle), Tony Fabic (guitar) Lee Hoxie Cain (guitar / vocals)
DAD SABBATH: a multi-generational quintet of metal-loving musicians featuring TWO father-son duos -- Richard & Callum Grier (guitar & drums) and Chuck & Bob Rainville (bass & guitar) -- plus lead vocalist Anna Muckenfuss!
QUASI-OSBOURNE: all-Hyattsville popup band of Adam Ortiz (guitar / vocals), Jason Riggs (guitar), Randy LiVorsi (drums) and Rumi Matsuyama (bass), featuring a lineup of surprise guest vocalists!
