About this Event

Oyster and Wine Pairing Workshop

Join us for a two-hour workshop learning all things oysters, shucking, and sipping. The beginning of the workshop will focus on oyster farming, anatomy, and cuisine. Margot will walk you through a shucking demonstration before one-on-one instruction of shucking a half dozen oysters. She will teach you what you need to know to source fresh oysters at restaurants, her favorite mignonette recipes to pair with different beverages, and what oyster farming entails.


While the group enjoys their oysters and wine flight, Sarah will walk guests through a Sommelier "tasting grid" and breaking down how to deductively wine taste. This flight will feature four Central Coast wines.
The workshop will end with additional wine and light bites available to purchase, Q&A, and friendly chats. Shucking knives and additional oysters will be available for purchase as well.
