Reimagining equality: academic voices on gender and inclusion.
About this Event

This event brings together leading academics at the School to showcase the latest research on women and gender equality, underscoring the crucial role of academic research in shaping more equitable workplaces, informing policy, and preparing future leaders to foster diversity and drive sustainable success across industries.

This panel discussion will be hosted by Sue Dopson, Deputy Dean for People and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI).

The Speakers

, Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, leads the Inspiring Female Founders series, from the Oxford Saïd Entrepreneurship Centre, which aims to inspire and equip future generations of entrepreneurs, particularly women, to tackle pressing challenges in the world through innovation

, Senior Lecturer in Organisation Studies (with special reference to inclusion) engages with the School and wider University's strategic projects relating to EDI, and conducts research examining diversity and inclusion from an individual, organisational and leadership perspective. In 2024, she co-authored Breaking Barriers: EDI in academic career progression at the University of Oxford

, Associate Professor of Marketing and Deputy Director of the Oxford Future of Marketing Initiative, will discuss the next phase of the work with UN Women and the Unstereotype Alliance, to counter the 'Go Woke Go Broke' mantra, and make the business case for better gender representation with a global lens.
